Four Reasons to join Luscious Choirs
If you are looking for an activity that is truly just for you, choir singing may be the answer. In our busy modern lives we often forget to make time for ourselves. Taking the time to attend choir each week may give you the recharge and the reconnect you need.
Singing is good for our brains, good for our bodies, good for our souls. Science consistently proves that music and singing is good for our brain health. The physical processes involved in singing are good for your body and allow you to connect with yourself at a much deeper level. Singing is great for your mood, your sense of self, and your wellbeing.
Joining together with other women in song is powerful community and interaction. Women are a powerful force when working together. Form new friendships and find fellowship with others.
Choir singing is a joyous and uplifting experience, a chance to engage with beautiful music and find expression through music. Luscious Choirs for Women covers a diverse repertoire from many genres and ages – all an opportunity to find fun and joy.

Paula is an internationally trained opera singer and choral conductor with a passion for sharing her joy of singing.
Paula believes that everyone can sing and make a beautiful sound, and through more than 25 years of teaching and conducting has never met anyone that she hasn’t been able to help.
What makes Luscious Choirs for Women different?
Our choirs are different because you don’t need to be a trained musician, singer or music reader to join one!
Singing is our intrinsic physical gift, everyone is able to sing, and even if you don’t think you can, Luscious Choirs can show you how.
Music is taught, predominately, in an a capella style which allows you to engage your ear first and to feel the music in your own body so that the sound you make when you sing becomes an extension of who you are.
We are different because we focus on making a beautiful sound – a sound that is full of womanly beauty and connection, finding and expressing joy.
You will learn how to sing and how to make a beautiful sound singing in our choirs.
“Singing provides a true sense of lightheartedness. If I sing when I am alone, I feel wonderful. It’s freedom.”
