Paula is an internationally trained opera singer and choral conductor with a passion for sharing her joy of singing.
Paula believes that everyone can sing and make a beautiful sound, and through more than 25 years of teaching and conducting has never met anyone that she hasn’t been able to help
Paula writes many of her own arrangements, crafting pieces for her choirs that express their own individual energy, rather than using commercial arrangements.
Paula has trained extensively in Australia and holds a Masters Degree from the University of Queensland where she trained in the Kodàly method of music education focusing on Aural Methodology and Choral Conducting. As a singer, she has trained internationally and by invitation with Emeritus Professor of The Juilliard School of Music, New York, Miss Ellen Faull.
Paula has a way of bringing the elite to the mainstream, helping you to build your confidence and take faith in your abilities to make a joyous sound.
Her passion for music and singing has been lifelong, and she works across many genres and styles to create repertoire that is engaging, fun, touching and fulfilling.
